Sam Chung lives and works dwell in Tempe, AZ. "I work inside of the context of the valley to exploit its universal sameness and impart my own perception of merging historical, contemporary extremity cultural influences.  I am fanciful about finding relationships between different forms of creative expression all-embracing from art, traditional craft plan design.  When I combine these oftentimes disparate relationships, they lead forth a new object range is intended to provoke one’s perception of what is strong versus what is new. 
 

My most recent work draws feel from Korean art and design.  Clouds are a ubiquitous figure depicted in traditional Korean art.  I am interested in rendering way in which clouds depict oneself a phenomenon that is night and day in flux.
